Historically, as it did not exist before, the response was limited to repairing damage AFTER an accident had occurred. Today, contemporary technology empowers us to predict and mitigate potential damages, averting BEFORE significant losses proactively. Such as airbags or automatic safety braking systems in cars.

The principle behind e-Predict technology is very different, because there is no increase in the overall temperature
of the electrical cabinet. For example, overheating caused by a cable tightening fault is highly targeted. When the
cable’s insulation exceeds the capacity for which it was designed, it degrades and releases material: It is this
transformation point that interests us and that is detected by e-Predict.

E-Predict does not measure temperature increase caused by an electric arc: it detects the gases (ions) released by the arc.
Actually, it does not increase the temperature of the enclosure

e-Predict effectively detects phenomena upstream before any smoke or burnt cables.
That’s what enables us to warn up to several days before breakdowns and first damages to come. Conventional fire detection warns you when the damage is already here by definition.

It didn’t exist so far. Until now, the detection of electrical faults was measured by means of one-off thermography campaigns, or by detecting smoke or temperature increases.
With E-Predict we detect phenomena in progress before the appearance of smoke, cables’ browning, or the protected equipment’s temperature raise.

Preventive maintenance is traditionally carried out through tightening campaigns and periodic few minutes long
thermographic checks.
E-Predict constantly monitors installations, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in real time, so that maintenance can be redirected to take appropriate action at the right time when malfunctions are reported.. This is known as predictive
maintenance.

Depending on the version, E-Predict generates alarms on audible or illuminated devices to be installed locally (not supplied), or by email or SMS, on a smartphone or in the customer’s electronic management system. We also provide HMI solutions that can be used to record the interventions’ history. We recommend that interventions are done as quickly as possible, and always with the help of an infrared camera, because triggering are often not
perceptible to humans.

Traditionally, these campaigns are carried out on an ad hoc basis, usually few minutes a year.
E-Predict constantly monitors installations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round.

E-Predict is constantly self-checking and carries out its own self-diagnostics.
Moreover, it has been designed to meet some of the most demanding players’ requirements in the electro-technical sector.

It has CNPP Certified (Certificate N°83.24.221) certification, has been designed in accordance with the FMEA rules (Failure Modes, Effects and
Criticality Analysis),is certified by CNPP, and of course complies with the CE marking linked to the EMC directive.

In addition, E-Predict is built using UL-compliant processes and materials. Our factory is UL compliant, and we are aiming for certification by eventually completing the administrative side.

E-PREDICT transmits alarming in real time to the customer’s electronic management system with a local management, such as a PLC. This provides 24/7 supervision. Our solutions are wired, so the data stay local, you decide whether to activate a smartphone, a BMS or a simple buzzer light on a main LV panel.

Social and environmental responsibility is at the very heart of our DNA, which is why we integrateend-to-end eco- design: right from the product design stage, and at every stage in its lifecycle (for example by reducing the number of injection points to minimise waste, optimising the thickness of the plastic thickness of the envelope) while preserving performance. But beyond the product, it’s also the positive impact that we are interested in, by avoiding
considerable potential damage (the protection of people, of course, but also the carbon footprint of incidents, the waste generated, soil pollution from fire-fighting water, etc.).

Predict warns of degradations that are certain to lead to future problems. However, it’s not possible to prevent all types of fire in time, because in extreme cases, phenomena can escalate in a matter of seconds.
