Installation compliance :Discover all the steps

We support you from the initial decision to the installation and maintenance of E-PREDICT solutions in your environment.

I. Pre-settlement: feasibility study and analysis

We’ll be with you every step of the way to make sure your installation is smooth and compliant

We recommend a one-day on-site audit (for a fee) by one of our independent trusted third parties: These independent companies specialising in fire risk are our selected partners trained by HDSN and approved by E-PREDICT. This can be carried out by you after completing our eLearning course: 5 minutes to understand the applications and limitations. The aim of this study is to identify risk objects, points of vulnerability and prioritise protection.

Our engineers use the metrics you provide (drawings, photos, dimensional descriptions) to determine the exact layout of our sensors in your equipment, and how to connect E-PREDICT to your supervision system for the earliest possible predictive maintenance. They prepare a specification for the operator you choose to carry out the installation: this is the layout study.

The layout study indicates the E-PREDICT locations and any corrections that need to be made to ensure equipment compliance (in particular, avoiding openings on the top, which are sources of danger).  And to find out how to install it, your operator can follow our certification course for accelerated eLearning training. A QUIZZ to validate what you’ve learnt will ensure that your operator has obtained the required certification. 100% correct answers required!

II. Commissioning : Setting up the technologyE-PREDICT

We’ll be with you every step of the way to make sure your installation is smooth and compliant

Our certification course makes it easy for you to train your own operators, or your subcontracted installation service provider. Your electrician will be familiar with your installations, and will be able to train easily and free of charge. On your smartphone or PC, watch the 5-minute animation to learn about installation conditions – our 5-minute quiz will help you validate what you’ve learned. If you get 100% correct answers, you’ll be issued with a certificate and given access to our installation APP.

APPredict guides your operator step by step to a successful installation: from the delivery of E-PREDICT to its commissioning.

A simple photo of the finished installation is all it takes for our engineering department to check that it conforms to the layout study.

Once the installation has been validated, the warranty starts, along with the associated Premium services for ongoing monitoring by HDSN support.

A detection test in your equipment (airflow in the electrical cabinet) enables you to validate that E-PREDICT is working correctly in the protected equipment.

Post-installation checks can be carried out by an independent, accredited third party.

It will check the conformity of the installation and validate the organisation of your maintenance services for effective interventions.

3. In situ functional check

III. Post-commissioning: E-PREDICT control and monitoring

Post-installation checks are carried out by an independent, accredited third party.

The installation must comply with the initial layout study.

Our trusted third parties will work with you to check that the initial study issued by our design office is being followed.

The on-site audit also enables compliance with the HDSN manufacturer’s specifications and instructions to be verified.

It’s also an opportunity to check with you the extent of the equipment protected, the correct start-up of support services and the activation of the warranty for all the sensors installed.

The functional check is carried out using the detection device supplied by HDSN.

This test validates the optimal operation of E-PREDICT according to the aeraulics of each of the electrical cabinets and its actual performance in your equipment.

Our INSSI-approved trusted third parties will train your teams to organise standardised E-PREDICT preventive maintenance in accordance with CNPP rules:

  • APSAD R8 Risk surveillance – Organisational rules for setting up a surveillance service
  • APSAD R6 Fire and industrial risk management

Everything is under control, and we provide you with all the tools you need: telephone assistance, E-PREDICT checklist, maintenance routine, intervention procedure, procedure for clearing up any doubts, reflex card.

The aim is to provide you with all the support you need to control your preventive maintenance and make E-PREDICT a valuable ally for your teams by avoiding major incidents.

For ongoing preventive maintenance:

  • For the technical side: checking that your installations are working properly and that your alarm chain is uninterrupted, routine maintenance and verification of the alarm procedure.
  • For human resources: monitoring of maintenance personnel, application of procedures and training reminders, corrective action, etc.

FAQ

Find out the answers to the most frequently asked questions about our E-PREDICT solutions.

Our customers have different profiles: for some, traditional systems are too expensive, or they intervene too late when it comes to electrical cabinets. For others, they have SSI systems but don’t want to use them because they generate heavy operating losses. And it’s not just fire: E-PREDICT is the only way to announce upcoming faults and breakdowns.

E-PREDICT makes it possible to intervene before traditional smoke detection systems. Detection and extinguishing systems are designed to limit damage, so you don’t have to use them. In addition, E-PREDICT avoids operational stoppages, most of which occur before the fire.

E-PREDICT monitors environmental conditions in electrical cabinets in real time. It detects anomalies and alerts users before an incident occurs. This helps prevent fire hazards.

Yes, installing E-PREDICT is quick and easy: just follow our installation plan. Our eLearning tools and smartphone installation APP will guide you through the process.
